ABMTRR workshops at Blood 2018

Workshop 1: Using ASTRO for routine data collection and reports, 2pm-3:30pm (afternoon tea 3:30-4pm)

This workshop is intended for anyone whose role involves providing routine transplant registration and follow up data, such as data managers, nurses, quality officers, laboratory scientists and physicians. We will demonstrate some of the new ASTRO features and show how these can help you streamline your data management processes and make the most of your data.


Workshop 2: Using ABMTRR data for planning, benchmarking and research, 4pm-5:30pm (afternoon tea 3:30-4pm)

In this workshop we will demonstrate how you can access ABMTRR data for quality, benchmarking, administrative and research purposes. Anyone interested in using ABMTRR data is welcome to attend. Some applications of registry data in the past year include:

  • resource planning
  • transplant centre QA and accreditation
  • research feasibility and scene setting
  • TGA applications
  • retrospective analyses
  • prospective studies
  • conference presentations
  • publications
